Frequently Asked Questions

Explore answers to common questions about Raise A Dock, helping you choose durable, versatile, and long-lasting waterfront solutions.

  • Our Raise A Dock products are crafted with corrosion-resistant aluminum frames and premium Endeck® Vinyl Decking Panels. This ensures superior durability, low maintenance, and reliable performance in a variety of water conditions.
  • We add gussets to every corner and down the center of each dock frame to ensure durability, which is above and beyond when comparing to competitors.
  • We use a removable winch pedestal for Raise-A-Dock installations while competitors will use a tree. A nearby tree is usually not centered on the dock, and the tree will die when drilling into and bolting to them.
  • We use cable instead of rope for lateral tie-offs with turn buckles.
  • We are the only crank-up dock manufacturer that uses aluminum legs: Schedule 80 aluminum pipe with a 1/4″ wall thickness.
  • Raise A Dock 10″ pipe feet create a larger footprint to prevent the structure from settling throughout the season. Additionally, it’s much lighter to winch up.
  • Raise A Dock is the only manufacturer that incorporates lift points and tie-off points directly into the frame.
