GENERAL FAQ’S

What is the lead time to receive my dock and have it installed?

Lead times vary by dock type: sectional docks are delivered and installed with the shortest lead time of as soon as 1-2 weeks quickly, crank-up docks involve more site preparation. We’ll collaborate with you to provide a precise timeline tailored to your order.

How far in advance should I place my order to have my dock installed for the current season?

Ordering as early as possible is ideal to secure your preferred installation date. We can install docks through late November, but scheduling early ensures availability and allows time for customization or site preparation. Contact us to reserve your spot for the season!

Do you offer seasonal installation and removal?

Yes, we provide seasonal installation and removal exclusively for docks we’ve manufactured.

What kind of maintenance is required to ensure the dock’s durability over time?

Our docks require minimal maintenance. The stainless steel and brass hardware resists corrosion, while the vinyl decking and aluminum frame are designed for long-lasting durability. Occasional cleaning of the decking is recommended to maintain its appearance and performance.

How do your docks perform in extreme weather conditions, such as heavy storms or freezing temperatures?

Our docks are built to withstand harsh weather, featuring robust cross-bracing for stability and Schedule 80 aluminum pipe with a ¼-inch wall for enhanced rigidity. These design elements ensure durability and reliability through heavy storms, freezing temperatures, and other extreme conditions.

What if I need repairs or maintenance to my dock?

Our docks come with a lifetime guarantee for normal use, excluding damage from acts of nature. If repairs or maintenance are needed, simply contact us, and our team will promptly address your concerns to keep your dock in top condition.

What is the warranty or guarantee offered on the dock and its components

Our docks come with a lifetime guarantee for normal use, excluding acts of nature or disasters. The Endeck vinyl decking carries its own lifetime warranty, and in over 25 years, we’ve never had a dock failure or warranty claim, ensuring confidence in our durable, high-quality components.

What is the maximum water depth suitable for your docks?

Our docks can be installed in water depths up to 18 feet, though we recommend an average depth of 6-8 feet at the dock’s end for optimal performance and stability.
